Anna Carson Sator is a postdoctoral assistant in the Department of Gender Studies at the University of Basel. Their current research project explores the construction of difference on a narrative and visual level using the example of feminist science fiction zines.

Before taking up their position in Basel, Sator worked at the Centre for Anthropology and Gender Studies in Freiburg (DE) as the academic coordinator of the Master's programme in Gender Studies. They also regularly taught courses in various disciplines in the humanities and trained as a writing coach.
