The roundtable “Past, Present, and Future(s) of Gender Studies” – part of the event series for the 25th anniversary of the Center for Gender Studies (Zentrum Gender Studies, ZGS) at the University of Basel – brings together scholars from different generations and disciplinary backgrounds to reflect on the history, present, and future of gender studies. The discussion will engage with the development of the field in its social, political, and institutional contexts in Switzerland and beyond, and will invite (self-)critical perspectives on its trajectories and challenges.
