The Swiss Association for the Studies of Science, Technology & Society announces the opening of the Call for Papers for its 2023 conference “Science, Expertise and other Modes of Knowledge: Trends, Patterns, and Prospects.”
We would like to draw your attention to the following two panels in particular: The panel P18 – Digitalization in Feminist STS Perspective, convened by Bianca Prietl, Doris Leibetseder and Anna Kraft, and the panel P24 – Collaborating with Matter: Explorations of New Feminist Materialism in Multiple Lifeworlds, convened by Marion Schulze and Aylin Tschoepe.
Aiming to promote the community of STS scholars by fostering exchange between various disciplines and fields of research that address issues relating to science, technology, policy, and society, the conference will take place on August 31 and September 1 and will be hosted by the University of Basel. It is organized in collaboration with the Centre for African Studies Basel and the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Basel.
