SUMMARY:Shared memories of equality movements
DESCRIPTION:In view of the 50 year anniversary of women's suffrage in  Swit
 zerland in 2021 and the 2nd women's strike in 2019\, this roundtable  conv
 enes different generations of women* who were and are involved in  the (qu
 eer) feminist equality movement and other emancipatory projects.  We will 
 ask the discussants about the significance of the different  emancipatory 
 movements in Switzerland\, their commonalities and  differences: What were
  the panelists’ central experiences\, problems and  goals? What do they 
 believe has been achieved and what are the next  urgent issues? In additio
 n\, we will ask about what was historically  specific to past projects\, a
 nd what is different today. What is the  significance of political\, acade
 mic and biographical knowledge? How does  it feel to be part of a movement
 \, a collective? What does their  cooperation entail? And finally\, what d
 o we learn from each other? How  could a broader\, intergenerational\, col
 lective or shared memory of the  history of movements and experiences be g
